Despite Max hiking prices for its ad-free plans last summer, the streamer is now offering a 7-day free trial through Prime Video — just in time for long-awaited shows like Season 3 of “The White Lotus,” out Feb. 16.

In order to access the free trial, you’ll have to sign up for an Amazon Prime account (which also offers a 30-day free trial). If you already have a Prime account, you can just sign in and add on a Max account free of charge. Once the week-long trial ends, the ad-supported Max subscription add-on will resume at its typical $9.99/month.
